Top Three Disciplines For Successful Ardyss Distributors

When you look at the difference between the distributors who are making consistent gains in their business and the ones that aren’t it usually comes down to a matter of discipline of one type or another. There was a study done once that tried to distinguish the difference between successful and unsuccessful people. What was discovered was that successful people did the things that unsuccessful people didn’t want to do. That may seem obvious to you right? But the study also found that the same things unsuccessful people didn’t want to do was the same things that successful people didn’t want to do. But the successful people did them anyway. So when you start looking at this start with the following three areas of self discipline: discipline of clear thinking versus fuzzy thinking, discipline of daily goal setting and the discipline of daily time planning.

Discipline Of Clear Thinking Versus Fuzzy Thinking

The way you think determines the quality of your decisions and choices. Your decisions and choices will then determine the actions you take. The actions you take will then determine the results you get. The results you get will determine the quality of your life.

Most of you will probably agree with this but how can you use it in your Ardyss distributorship? One way is to start from the end result and work backward from there. If you know what the end result for your business is then what are the type of results you will need to support that? If you know the type of results you will need then what actions will support that? If you know the actions you will need then what decisions and choices do you need to make now to get the ball rolling?

Ardyss Business Opportunity Goal Setting Exercise

Are you setting goals as it relates to your Ardyss Distributorship? You should at the very least have 1 year, 5 year and10 year goals for what you want to accomplish with your distributorship. One of the exercises I use everyday is what I will call the “Daily Goal List” exercise. It works on the basic principle that “What you IMPRESS you EXPRESS”.

What do I mean by that? Whatever you IMPRESS on the subconscious mind through repetition and emotion will be EXPRESSED in your daily life, circumstances and events. The best way to do the impressing is with a consistent plan of action. That’s where the “Daily Goal List” exercise comes into play.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

A spiral notebook that is small enough to carry around with you all the time

THE PROCESS

Every day you will write out a list of 3-5 goals related to your Ardyss distributorship. This will be done without referring to any previous lists you may have created. Your goals will be written to make sure they are present, positive and personal.

For Example:

I have an Ardyss Distributorship that earns at least $10,000/month.

This goal statement is personal (i.e. I )
This goal statement is present (i.e. Have as in now)
This goal statement is positive (i.e. states what you want versus what you don’t want)
This goal statement has a timeframe for completeion (i.e. every month)
This goal statement has a validation method (i.e. at least 10,000)

The other thing this exercise will do is let you know how serious you are about your Ardyss Distributorship. If you can’t find the 5-10 minutes a day it takes to complete this exercise then you should ask yourself how serious are you about being successful with this venture? If you are able to complete the exercise as stated then what you will find is that the goals you really want will continue to show up and in about a month you can expect this whole process to start to create some dramatic shifts regarding the EXPRESION of the goals that are being IMPRESSED. Are You Sponsoring The Right People?

You are probably wondering what I mean by that statement,”Are You Sponsoring The Right People?”. When people first get into the network marketing business they feel like anytime they can get another person to join their team that it’s a good thing. But if you really evaluate the scenario you will come to a different understanding about the subject. One of my team members who is an expert options trader put it this way. “What makes me successful in trading options is that I quickly discern which stocks/options have the most profit potential and then I focus on JUST those. I don’t really care what the stock behind the option is to a large degree I am just looking for a successful profile!” In your network mareting business you should be approaching it in the same fashion.

When someone is interested in your business you need to quickly discern

1) Do they fit the profile of a person that would be successful in this business?

2) Have they been successful in other business endeavors that required a short to medium term commitment?

3) Are they trainable?

You will do this by “Interviewing” them. yes I said interviewing! Your perspective should rightfully be that you are offering them an opportunity that they don’t currently have. This is true for even the people that are currently high earners. Many high earners pay the price for their income in time. That time commitment often leads to less then ideal relationships with the people they love and they don’t get to fully enjoy the fruits of it because they are always in the middle of making more. So don’t feel intimidated by that. The most important thing for you to do is that if after your “Interview” they don’t fit your profile then you need to let them know that your business opportunity is just not for them.

Does Your Upline Have A Marketing System?

If you are looking for a business opportunity to join or already know which one you want to work with then you need to ask yourself this question,”Does My Potential Upline Have A Plan Of action For Me Once I Join?” And by a plan of action I am not referring to the run of mill set of activities that is always thrown out there but rarely leads to results. You want your potential UPLINE to be able to explain to you why you should join their team and their team’s marketing system. If they don’t have a marketing system that you can easily duplicate then they are NOT the right team for you to join. This is true regardless of your relationship to them. Without pitching Ardyss specifically I always start that conversation off to people interested in starting their own home based business the same way. If you are looking for a home based business opportunity and don’t want to end up with another job that in many ways will pay a lot less than your current one then the business opportunity you are looking for should have the following set of success criteria:
